Daylyn Wynder CPA, CGA

Daylyn grew up in the bustling metropolis of Hill Spring and received his Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge. After graduation he began working in an industry position doing financial accounting. It was while working in industry that he decided he wanted to work in public practice and accepted a position at Ernst & Young. At Ernst & Young he specialized in the preparation of Canadian and US personal income tax returns. Daylyn worked closely with corporations who would send employees between Canada and the US for work, and assisted them in ensuring their employees were tax compliant in both countries. After 7 years with Ernst & Young, he joined Price & Comin LLP, as the US Tax Manager and received his Certified General Accounting (CGA) designation. On January 1, 2016 Daylyn became a partner of Price & Comin LLP and is responsible for managing our US tax group. Daylyn and his wife, Jocelyn, have been married over 10 years and have 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl).

Jason Comin CPA, CA

Jason received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary and earned his CA Designation while working at Hudson & Company LLP in Calgary, Alberta.

After receiving his designation, he moved to Cardston, Alberta, to form Price & Comin LLP. The practice has grown from a single location and now has offices across southwestern Alberta.

Jason and his wife, Lisa, have seven children. In addition to enjoying his family and professional responsibilities, Jason has served as a member of the board of directors for various organizations, including the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta, 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union, the Rotary Club of Cardston and the Cardston and District Chamber of Commerce.

Kyle Stone CPA, CA

Kyle received his Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge. After graduating he began working with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in Calgary where he articled and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation. Kyle spent five years working with PwC in Calgary before transferring to the PwC office on Turks and Caicos Island in the Caribbean. Kyle and his family left the white beaches and blue water to return to Canada and work in our Raymond office in the fall of 2013. On January 1, 2016, Kyle became a partner of Price & Comin LLP and is responsible for managing our Raymond office and overseeing assurance services. When Kyle is not busy at work or volunteering, he is spending time with his growing family.

Ryan Vadnais CPA, CA

Ryan joined the firm in 2013 and has been a Chartered Accountant since 2010. After pursuing a post-secondary degree at the UofL and articling with MNP in Medicine Hat, Ryan moved back home to be close to family and to be more involved in the family farm. Ryan and his wife Brooke have 5 adorable little girls (yes and no boys) and live just outside of Cardston. On January 1, 2016 Ryan became a partner of Price & Comin LLP. Ryan enjoys living and working in Cardston and loves working with small business owners.

Angela Walburger CPA, CGA

Angela began working in accounting after graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Management (with a major in accounting). She earned her CGA designation while working for Price & Comin LLP. Angela grew up in Medicine Hat, then married a rancher from Mountain View, which she says was a tiny bit of culture shock! She is a true Alberta girl who just kept moving west until she found the best place in the world, a little spot tucked up beside the Rockies. When not at work she takes on the role of chauffer for her children and their activities, then Angela becomes a ranch hand helping her husband with cattle, and if there is any time leftover she enjoys baking anything with butter and/or chocolate.

Cheryl McMurray

Cheryl began working at Price & Comin LLP over 7 years ago. She works in the Cardston office handling a myriad of administrative duties. Cheryl grew up in Lethbridge and has lived in Cardston since marrying Ken McMurray. They have four awesome children – two are married. She has enjoyed teaching dance classes (tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary) off and on for the last 28 years. Cheryl loves spending time with her family, camping, cooking, traveling, dancing and being creative. Music is Cheryl’s passion. She doesn’t play an instrument, but you will often find her listening to and enjoying all types of music LOUDLY!

Nickie Malmberg (CPA Prospective)

Nickie started working with Price & Comin in March 2019. Nickie has a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge, and a Business Administration diploma from Lethbridge College. Nickie has worked very hard the past two years to earn her CPA designation. We are super proud of her.

Nickie grew up in Trail BC which had the best of both world great skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and lakes galore in the summer, and all within 15 mins. She moved to Lethbridge 17 years ago to attend university, met her Husband Clint who lived on a ranch by Spring Coulee, and never left. They have 2 beautiful girls (6 and 2) who keep them hopping.

Deborah Cahoon CPA, CA

Deborah started with a Price & Comin predecessor (B. Mark Wood, CA) in Cardston almost 20 years ago. She grew up in Cardston, attended BYU for 3 years, graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce, articled with Coopers & Lybrand in Edmonton, and then obtained her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1996. In that time she also got married, started a family, and moved back to Cardston. Deborah and her husband, Darren, have been married for 30 years. They have 3 children: Crystal, Wilson & Jenna. Deborah has been the treasurer of the Town of Cardston Library Board since 2002.

Kanzi Duce (CPA Student)

Kanzi Duce, originally Kanzi Bevans, grew up in Raymond and married Colt Duce from Cardston. She has four children, a boy and three girls. She currently resides on the McIntyre Ranch where her husband works. Kanzi has a red seal hairdressing license, business admin-accounting diploma, and bachelor of management-accounting degree. If she is not working she's usually on the back of a horse preferably in the mountains, sewing some crafty something or other, or travelling to visit family.

Jennifer Graham

Jennifer began working for Price & Comin LLP in Cardston when her future husband was posted as a new constable with the RCMP at the Cardston detachment . Prior to joining Price & Comin LLP she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a specialization in Molecular Genetics from the University of Alberta. Jennifer grew up in St. Albert and when she is not working she’s frantically chasing after her daughters. Besides bookkeeping and preparing personal income tax returns Jennifer also enjoys hanging out with friends and relaxing in front of the TV.

Doreen Card

Doreen grew up in sunny Cardston, AB and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University. After graduating from BYU, she returned home and started working for her father in his accounting practice – D. L. Card Professional Corporation. She continued working with Price & Comin LLP when they purchased her dad’s practice. Much of our office explores the world vicariously through Doreen as when she is not working, she loves to travel and scuba dive in exotic places. She also spends time walking her dog – she credits her dog with keeping her at the top of the office Fitbit pool and getting her away from watching TV.

Freda Still

Freda began working for Ron Johnson Professional Corporation in 2006 and continued with Price and Comin LLP when they purchased Ron’s practice in 2010. Freda works in our Magrath office doing bookkeeping, payroll and working with the Aetna and Leavitt Irrigation Districts. She was born and raised in Grande Prairie. When Freda married Keith 35 years ago they moved to southern Alberta, raising 2 handsome sons and 1 beautiful daughter. When she is not at work Freda enjoys spending time with her 5 precious grandchildren.

Sandra Duane

Sandra started working in an accounting office with Ralph Price, CGA, prior to the establishment of Price & Comin LLP. Since being with Price & Comin LLP Sandra has left to work elsewhere a time or two but keeps returning to what she feels is a great place to work with awesome staff. Sandra grew up in the metropolis of Raymond, AB and met her husband Ray while attending school in Provo, Utah where she became a Certified Dental Assistant. She has been blissfully married to her best friend for over 30 years and they have 4 children – Colton, Rick, Bethany, and Kendyn. The three oldest have added two beautiful daughters-in-law and one handsome son-in-law to the family. When Sandra is not working, her greatest passion is her family and she would love to travel often to visit her children who currently reside in Vancouver, BC, the island of Saba in the Caribbean, and New Zealand.

Jennifer Nelson

Price & Comin is a welcome change for Jennifer. She spent the last year working for an orthodontist office as their Financial Coordinator. She has discovered she loves being able to greet clients and bring some happiness to their day. She is a mom to 4 incredible children, who keep her plenty busy, and wife to JJ. She has lived in Southern Alberta for most of her life but got to enjoy many years in Utah Valley. She loves being outside and soaking up the sunshine with her family including their 2 dogs, camping and beach days are at the top of her list.

Meagan Card

Meagan started at Price & Comin as a bookkeeper in January 2014. It was a complete 180 degree turn from her previous job at the Parent Link Centre where she sang and danced for kids all day! Although she was no stranger to the tasks of bookkeeping with many years’ experience managing her husband’s construction company and a two year part time job at Chief Mountain Gas Co-op.

Meagan was born and raised in the bubble of Cardston. She married Wes Card and they have 5 amazing children. She enjoys chasing them around to their various sports & activities. When she’s not doing that she’s working!

Shannon Toone

Shannon was born and raised in Utah and completed the Certified Public Accountant program there. Loving the sun and water since she can first remember she went to university at BYU-Hawaii. While there Shannon received her Bachelors in Accounting degree, she then went on to receive a Masters in Accounting degree with a tax emphasis from the University of Utah and soon after she obtained her CPA license. Shannon has been with Price & Comin LLP since moving to Cardston and prior to joining Price & Comin LLP she worked at a CPA firm in Utah. While not preparing US income tax returns Shannon works full-time as a wife and mother to six young children.

Angela Fremstad

Angela has worked at Price & Comin LLP since March 2020. She prides herself on being organized, providing great customer service, and building client relationships. When not busy at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 daughters, and three dogs. She enjoys reading, movies, listening to music, being outdoors, and riding her motorcycle.

Carol Pierson

Carol began working with Price & Comin LLP since January 2021. She was born and raised in Northern Saskatchewan. After high school, she obtained her bachelor of commerce degree (major in accounting) at the U of S then headed to Alberta. After University, she pursued a CMA designation and is currently working on her payroll designation. She lived 10 years in Calgary, 12 years in Medicine Hat and now lives in Raymond. She has always dabbled in some kind of accounting job everywhere she goes – can’t escape! She has 5 kids which has kept life super busy over the years and at one point in her life was busy being more of a free chauffeur than anything else. When not at work, she loves spending time at the lake, watching the kids sports games, and hanging out with the family.

Tara Lamontagne, PCP

Tara has been making sure our Raymond office has been running smoothly since December of 2013. Along with secretarial duties she also does bookkeeping and payroll. Tara married Darrell 23 years ago and they have been raising their five children in Raymond for the past 16 years. When she is not busy at work, she is busy with Parent Council at the high school and works with the youth in her church. Her children also keep her moving with activities such as clogging, hockey and volley ball.
